Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
