Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
