Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
