Surely We have sent down to thee the Book with the truth, so that thou mayest judge between the people by that God has shown thee. So be not an advocate for the traitors; 105 And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 106 And plead not on behalf of (people) who deceive themselves. Lo! Allah loveth not one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They may hide (their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (them) from Allah, for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot by night in words that He does not approve, And Allah ever encompasses what they do. 108 You might argue on their behalf in the life of this world: but who will argue on their behalf with God on the Day of Resurrection and who will be their defender? 109 He who does evil or wrongs himself and then asks forgiveness of Allah will find that Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 110 And whoever earns sin, he earns it only against himself. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 111 He who commits a mistake or iniquity and ascribes it to one who is innocent, is guilty of calumny and brazen sin. 112
