And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, save in truth. Surely the Hour is coming; so pardon thou, with a gracious pardoning. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 About their deeds. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
