The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
