Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
