Say, [O Muhammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allah; but I worship Allah, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers 104 "And further (thus): 'set thy face towards religion with true piety, and never in any wise be of the Unbelievers; 105 And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust. 106 If Allah do touch thee with hurt, there is none can remove it but He: if He do design some benefit for thee, there is none can keep back His favour: He causeth it to reach whomsoever of His servants He pleaseth. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 107 Say: "O men, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so he who follows the right path does so for himself, and he who goes astray errs against himself, and I am not a guardian over you. 108 Follow what is revealed to you, and be patient till Allah shall judge, and He is the Best of judges. 109
God the Almighty always says the truth.
