And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
