۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a hidden Book 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
