But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?- 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 From cattle they get milk and other benefits. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And take other gods apart from God that they may perhaps give them help. 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant. 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 "The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)! 80 And is it not possible for the One Who created the heavens and the earth to create the likes of them? It is surely possible, why not? And He is the Great Creator, the All Knowing of everything. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back. 83
