Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
