To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On the day when the Hour of Doom arrives, the followers of falsehood will be lost. 27 And thou shalt behold each community kneeling; each community shall be summoned to its Book. Today, ye shall be recompensed for that which ye have been working. 28 "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." 29 The Lord will admit the righteously striving, believing people into His mercy. This is certainly a clear victory. 30 But as for those who were bent on denying the truth, [they will be told:] "Were not My messages conveyed to you? And withal, you gloried in your arrogance, and so you became people lost in sin: 31 When it was said that the promise of God is true and that the Hour would inevitably come, you said, "We do not know what the Hour of Doom is, we are suspicious about it and we are not convinced". 32 And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule. 33 "We shall ignore you today," they will be told, "as you had forgotten the meeting of this Day. Your dwelling place is Hell, and there is none to save you: 34 That is because you took the verses of Allah (the Koran) in mockery, and you were deluded by your worldly life' So that Day they will not be brought out of it; nor shall they be repentant. 35 Therefore to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds. 36 And to Him belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 37
