Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23
