The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
