Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
