Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
