And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
