The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
