The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
