The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
