Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad SAW) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them? 98
