Said [Moses]: "O my Sustainer! Open up my heart [to Thy light,] 25 Make my task easy 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Verily, You have always watched over us." 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 I have chosen you for Me. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement awaits those who called the lie to the truth and turned away from it.' " 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 It is He who made the earth a bed for you, and traced for you paths upon it, and sends down water from the sky, and brings out through it every kind of vegetation 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
