Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
