God shall surely admit those who believe and do righteous deeds into gardens underneath which rivers flow. As for the unbelievers, they take their enjoyment and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire shall be their lodging. 12 And how many a township stronger than thy township (O Muhammad) which hath cast thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper! 13 Is he then who standeth on an evidence from his Lord like unto him whose evil of work is made fair-seeming for him and those who follow their lusts? 14 A likeness of the Garden which hath been promised to the God-fearing; therein are rivers of water incorruptible, and rivers of milk whereof the flavour changeth not, and rivers of wine a joy unto the drinkers, and rivers of honey clarified. Theirs therein shall be every kind of fruit, and forgiveness from their Lord. Shall persons enjoying such bliss be like unto those who are abiders in the Fire and are given to drink boiling water so that it mangleth their entrails? 15 And there are those of them who seek to listen to you, until when they go forth from you, they say to those who have been given the knowledge: What was it that he said just now? These are they upon whose hearts Allah has set a seal and they follow their low desires. 16 As for those who were guided, He increases their guidance and gives them their protection. 17 Are they looking for aught but the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly? Already its tokens have come; so, when it has come to them, how shall they have their Reminder? 18 Know, then, [O man,] that there is no deity save God, and [while there is yet time,] ask forgiveness for thy sins and for [the sins of] all other believing men and women: for God knows all your comings and goings as well as your abiding [at rest]. 19
