The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
