O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ THUS IT IS: if the hypocrites, and they in whose hearts is disease, and they who, by spreading false rumours, would cause disturbances in the City [of the Prophet] desist not [from their hostile doings]; We shall indeed give thee mastery over them, [O Muhammad] - and then they will not remain thy neighbours in this [city] for more than a little while: 60 They shall be cursed from all around and they shall be ruthlessly killed wherever they are seized. 61 [This is] the established way of Allah with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allah any change. 62 PEOPLE will ask thee about the Last Hour. Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; yet for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!" 63 God has cursed the unbelievers, and prepared for them a Blaze, 64 Abiders therein they shall be forever, and they shall find neither a protecting friend nor a helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 They shall say, "Our Lord, we paid heed to our leaders and our elders, but they led us away from the right path. 67 Lord, make them to suffer double torment and subject them to the greatest condemnation." 68
