Nay, by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 in Gardens they will question 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
