In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known extent. 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
