Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
