The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
