Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
Children of Israel, remember the favours I have bestowed upon you, and fulfil the covenant that you made with Me. I shall fulfil the covenant I made with you. Fear Me alone. 40 And believe in what I have sent down which verifies what is already with you; and do not be the first to deny it, nor part with it for little gain; and beware of Me. 41 And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]. 42 Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him. 46
