Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 Some faces will on that Day be downcast, 2 Labouring (hard), weary,- 3 roasting at a scorching fire, 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 They will have no food other than bitter and thorny fruit 6 Which will neither fatten nor avail against hunger. 7 Many faces will be joyous on that day, 8 well-pleased with [the fruit of] their striving, 9 In an elevated garden, 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 In it there shall be a flowing spring, 12 Therein are thrones raised high, 13 And cups set at hand. 14 And cushions ranged 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 Do they not look at the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the Sky, how it is raised high?- 18 And the mountains – how they have been established? 19 And the earth – how it has been spread out? 20 So remind them (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), you are only a one who reminds. 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 Except whoever turns away and disbelieves – 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Truly, to Us is their return; 25 Then it will be for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
