Al-Anfaal 3 of 10
O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak). 20 And be not like unto those who say: we hear, whereas they hearken not. 21 ۞ Verily the vilest of beasts with Allah are the deaf and dumb who understand not. 22 Had Allah known of any good in them He would have made them hear, but had He made them hear they would have turned away, averse. 23 O you who believe! answer (the call of) Allah and His Apostle when he calls you to that which gives you life; and know that Allah intervenes between man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered. 24 And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allah is Severe in punishment. 25 Remember, when you were few and powerless in the land, afraid of despoliation at the hands of men. But then God sheltered and helped you to strength, and provided for you good things that you may perhaps be grateful. 26 O Ye who believe! defraud not Allah and the apostle, nor defraud your trusts while ye know. 27 Know that your wealth and children are a trial and that there is an immense reward with God. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
