Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
