The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
