Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
