The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: 1 those who are humble in their prayer; 2 and from idle talk turn away 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 Those who seek beyond that are transgressors. 7 And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 Those are the heirs 10 who will inherit Paradise; they shall live there for ever. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 then We set him, a drop, in a receptacle secure, 13 We then turned the drop of fluid into a clot of blood, then the clot into a small lump of flesh, then the lump into bones, then covered the bones with flesh; then developed it in a different mould; therefore Most Auspicious is Allah, the Best Creator. 14 Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. 15 Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven paths above you; We have never been unmindful of Our creation. 17 And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. 18 So with it We produced gardens of date-palms and grapes for you, in which is abundant fruit for you and you eat therefrom. 19 and a tree issuing from the Mount of Sinai that bears oil and seasoning for all to eat. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride. 22
