The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
