The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He created man out of a mere drop of fluid, and lo! he turned into an open wrangler. 4 And He creates cattle: you derive warmth from them, and [various other] uses; and from them you obtain food; 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful, 7 And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the way, and thereof is some crooked; and had He willed He would have guided you all. 9
