Nay, by the Moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 a warning to humankind, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 "And used to deny the Day of Justice." 46 Until the certainty of death had come upon us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills.
