۞ And God has said: "Do not take to worshipping two [or more] deities. He is the One and Only God: hence, of Me, of Me alone stand in awe!" 51 And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? 52 And whatsoever of favour is with you is from Allah; then when distress toucheth you, unto Him ye cry out. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 That they may show ingratitude for that which We have vouchsafed unto them. Enjoy then, presently ye shall know. 55 They set aside a portion of the food We have given them for those they do not know. By God, you will surely have to answer for all you contrive! 56 And [thus, too,] they ascribe daughters unto God, who is limitless in His glory - whereas for themselves [they would choose, if they could, only] what they desire: 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 Hiding from the people because of the evil of the tidings; “Will he keep her with disgrace, or bury her beneath the earth?”; pay heed! Very evil is the judgement they impose! 59 For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 60
