Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
