Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 Who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
