Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
