The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
