Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 They will be rewarded the highest position in heaven, the recompense of their patience, and they will be welcomed with honour and greetings of peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
