The dwellers of the wood belied the sent ones. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 I ask of you no wage for this; 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
