(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord and do not yield to any sinful or disbelieving person among them (people). 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And during part of the night adore Him, and give glory to Him (a) long (part of the) night. 26 Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them. 27 We created them and made firm their make, and when We please We will bring in their place the likes of them by a change. 28 Surely this is a Reminder; so he who will, takes unto his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way]: for, behold, God is indeed all-seeing, wise. 30 He makes whom He pleases to enter into His mercy; and (as for) the unjust, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement. 31
