54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ha Mim: 1 A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful -- 2 A Book whereof the verses are detailed; an Arabic Qur'an, for a people who know. 3 Giving good news and admonition: yet most of them turn away, and so they hear not. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are encased against that to which you call us, and there is a heaviness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us, so do as you will and so shall we." 5 Say (unto them O Muhammad): I am only a mortal like you. It is inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah, therefor take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe unto the idolaters, 6 who do not pay the zakat, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 (As for) those who believe and do good, they shall surely have a reward never to be cut off. 8
